Accessing Your RTMP & Stream Key

RTMP means Real-Time Messaging Protocol, and is a communication protocol for streaming audio, video, and data over the Internet; it's the part of the technology that makes streaming possible. In this article, we'll talk about how to access your RTMP and stream key, as well as how to stream with a 3rd party.

Accessing Your RTMP & Stream Key

Streaming with a 3rd Party

Brandlive gives you the ability to use your own third party streaming, or encoder tool if you don't have a need to use Greenroom. Simply follow the instructions for "Accessing your RTMP & Stream Key" as shown above, and plug your session endpoints into the encoder tool of your choice. If streaming to more than two destinations at once (simulcast), we recommend using a simulcasting tool like Restream.io
