Setting Up Your Streams Admin Account

Congrats, you're getting a Streams account! In this article, we'll show you how to get your account set-up, name you channel, login to your account, and grant permissions.

Creating Your Streams Admin Account

Upon signing up with Brandlive, your Account Manager (AM) will create your account (also called your "Channel") for you.

Naming Your Channel

Next, you'll want to name your channel. When thinking about what to name your channel, here are some things to consider:

  • Your channel name will be part of all your Event URLs.
    • Example: If the Channel is Sample Channel, all URLs will start with ""
  • If you'd like a custom channel name, let your AM know that you want the channel name to be different than the account name.
    • Example: Channel is Sample Channel and URLs read ""

Logging Into Your Account

  1. Sign in and create password
  2. If you forgot your password, go through the ‘lost password’ experience

Granting Permissions

You can invite other team members to the channel. There are several tiers of permissions that can be granted. These tiers are:

  • Owner: You can only have one owner. This person has access to the entire channel. This cannot be deleted by anyone else except the owner themselves.
  • Admin: Use permissions as owner. Admins can add and delete other users.
  • Editor/Sitebuilder: Can access and edit events only.
  • Moderation: Only able to access Moderation.
  • Analytics: Only able to access the Analytics dashboard.
  • Passcode Manager: Can upload and edit passcode lists only.
  • Producer: Provides access to Greenroom to build and edit show boards and stream or record.
